Get Ready for a Wet One!

Here we are in the third week of football and Alabama is just settling in for the first home game.  On Saturday evening, the Tide will be playing the Colorado State Rams.  This will also be our first night game of the season.

Much of the talk around town this week is about the players who were injured during the A&M game.  The Tide Coaches are making sure that their players are getting better, finding someone who can step in their place or updating us on if they will return to the game.  This is where that thing we talk about called the “depth chart” comes in very handy ladies.  Alabama is lucky enough to have a lot of talent that wants to play for the Tide and Coach Saban.  Therefore, when one of our players needs to be out a game, there is someone there and ready to stand in and show us what they got!  Seeing some of the new players is really one of the things I am looking forward to in this game.  I hope Alabama will get a big lead and we can see some of this new talent that Saban has in his arsenal.

What else is going on this weekend?  It looks like it’s going to be a wet one!  Expect rain down in T-Town, so that means break out your rain boots and ponchos!  Check out our fashion section so you will know what gridirongirls wear on game day!  Also, it’s a night game…what about dinner??  Check out our recipe section for new great ideas for easy to put together dinner ideas!

Check back with me on Saturday for my first ever pre-game video update!
