After a tough win against Tennessee, the Bulldogs are down a few good DAWGS for the upcoming Missouri game. Looking at the Mizzou game at the beginning of the season, I’m sure it looked like a good home game, and an enjoyable break after LSU and a road trip to Knoxville. I’m not saying Missouri would have been any less of a challenging opponent, but after the havoc wreaked by the Vols it will be a real test for the Dawgs.
Missouri is coming into Athens ranked as a fresh faced No.25 in the polls making this the fourth Top-25 team Georgia has faced this season. Could this be the team that will upset Georgia? I mean, who would have even thought about considering this a potential road block and KO from National Championship hopes?
The biggest struggle Georgia will face in this game will be on their former strong side, offense. With the sidelining of Keith Marshall, John Wesley Scott, and Michael Bennett for the season, and the unlikelihood of seeing Todd Gurley make an appearance, moving the ball should be a sight on Saturday.
Missouri will be looking to upset the No. 7 Bulldogs with a healthy team hoping to collect a huge SEC win. The game will come down to the Bulldogs pulling together and figuring out what to do without their standouts, and how well they can overcome adversity and prove to themselves and the nation that they are still a force to be dealt with in the Southeastern Conference.
Game time is 12 pm (Eastern) on ESPN.
