Get your UTSA football fix! Alamodome, April 26th!

Coker and Crew will wrap up their spring practice this weekend with the 4th Annual UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game, held at the Alamodome. Presented by Health Texas, it starts at 1pm this Saturday, April 26th.

Admission is free to the game in the Alamodome, with doors opening at 12. Fans will be able to sit on the East side of the plaza level, and concessions will be available. Afterwards, an autograph session with the players will be held on the field, so make sure the kiddos (and kids alike) bring tshirts, posters, helmets, and hats to get signed.

In this game, the Offense will play against the Defense, in four 12-minute quarters, along with a 10-minute halftime.

Important reminder: Fiesta Carnival is also going on in the Alamodome parking lot, so parking will not be available in Lot C. Parking will be available, however, in Lots A and B for $10.

You’ll want to download the iHeartRADIO and listen to Andy Everett’s 1-hour pre-game show at noon. It will also air on Sports Radio Ticket 760 AM, or online here. He will fill you in on all things wonderful in Roadrunner football.

It’ll be a very exciting day, indeed. I know there are many of us out there that are quite excited to see our team in action! It’ll be a long time til August 29th, when we take on Houston in their new stadium.

Get Rowdy, put your Birds up, and GO ‘Runners!!

About Laurie (43 Articles)
A true southern girl at heart, Laurie was raised to love football. Her years at Mississippi State really developed her passion for everything gameday: Getting primped and polished in über-cute outfits, tailgating with new and old friends, fans clanging cowbells with great exuberance while the Bulldogs play great football inside Davis Wade Stadium. Laurie is a huge fan of Coach Mullen, his wife, Megan, and the team he has built. Could this team have a Heisman candidate??… After moving to Texas and marrying a fellow football fan who graduated from UTSA, she was thrilled when UTSA announced its plan to build a football program. The Athletic Director, Mrs. Lynn Hickey, has done a phenomenal job and has a large fan following, including Laurie. Laurie has been a season ticket holder since the first season, and has loved watching the team grow. Laurie loves to be crafty at times. Hand-painted glasses for both teams fill her cabinets, team wreaths hang on her front door. Her blue and orange feathered sombrero makes it to every UTSA game, loud and proud. Laurie has a B.S. in Marketing, and a Minor in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising from Mississippi State University.
