Bama Boys Go in the First Round of the 2014 NFL Draft

Ha Ha & CJ

CJ Mosley goes to the Baltimore Ravens in the 17th overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft.  I must say that is one of my favorite pro teams!  Why you ask?  I have to say the main reason is because of the coach, he’s a former Bama legend and if anyone can mold this Bama boy into what he needs on the field, it’s Ozzie Newsome.  When Ray Lewis left after his second Super Bowl win last February, it left a huge hole in the Raven’s defense.  CJ has big shoes to fill here and I believe he is the right man for the job.

Then there is Joe Flacco the very handsome QB and another one of my favorites is Michael Oher, yes THE Michael Oher, the one who’s life was portrayed on the movie “The Blind Side”.  For obvious reasons, that is one of my all-time favorite movies.  It has a strong female lead and football, how could I not love that?  I can’t imagine anyone plays with more heart than Michael.

Then there is Jacoby Jones, I mean how could you NOT like him after seeing him on Dancing With The Stars!  His dance in the end zone after his touchdown in the Super Bowl really sealed the deal for me!  I really do believe this team has another chance for the Super Bowl this year!

Clearly Baltimore loves Bama because Mosley will also be joining former Bama players Courtney Upshaw and Terrance Cody, also known as Mt. Cody.  As if you didn’t already know, he has that nick name for a reason, the biggest man on the team, Mt. Cody stands at 6’4” and almost 350 pounds.  Yea, nobody wants to line up opposite that!

Not to be outdone by Mosley however, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix went to another big NFL team, the Green Bay Packers.  I have to say I am sure the announcers will have to get used to saying his name but what a GREAT place to play football!!  I am sure his Grandmother who gave him that nick name (His real name is Ha’Sean) is beaming with pride because nobody is laughing now but Ha Ha himself!

That’s it for the first round!

Can I get a Roll Tide???  Because the NFL loves those Bama boys!
