Davis Wade Stadium’s expansion is finally complete!
With less than a week to Mississippi State’s home opener against Southern Miss, all that’s left to do is put in some stools and seating, arrange furniture, and triple check all the last minute details. The pictures are stunning. Like seeing your baby for the first time, fans will be in awe of the detail, quality, and won’t be able to stop gawking for hours on end.
What’s new, you ask?
The State Level: 236 Loge Seats and 22 skyboxes. ULTRA LUXURIOUS!
Loge seats can sit four, six, or eight people, include rolling chairs, and a place to set food and beverages while boasting small flat panel televisions for one’s personal use during game-time. Cost for this exclusive area is $10,000 (four seats), $15,000 (six seats), $20,000 (eight seats) per season, and does NOT include ticket price. But, sorry! It’s sold out for this season!
Skyboxes on the State Level provide an exclusive area for you and 12-15 of your friends to relax and enjoy a ball game. This area will be outfitted with food and beverage stations, with catering available. Cost: $30,000 Bulldog Club Obligation (12 people), $40,000 Bulldog Club Obligation (18 people). Again, this does not include ticket price, and is sold out for the season.
The highest level of seating in the new expansion, this area provides seating for 1,000 fans, a locker service, food & beverage area, chair-back seating, high definition televisions, and covered rear area. Cost: $1,100 per seat. Price of the ticket not included. Once again, this area is sold out.
Opening two hours before kickoff, the Gridiron provides an ‘in-your-face’ experience that puts you field level to soak up the action. The Gridiron also comes serviced with drinks, food, locker service, and high definition televisions so that you can kick back and relax without missing a single play. Season ticket holders simply need to add a season membership to THE GRIDIRON to their current season ticket package. Cost: $750 per membership for the full season. This is the only area still available for purchase. As of today, 152 seats are available.
In addition, the scoreboards have had a major renovation as well! The North End Zone scoreboard will be brand new, and an absolute behemoth.
Construction began in 2012 immediately following regular season play, and will be finished in less than 2 years just in time for the 2014 season opener.
