CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) has a new, first-ever all-female nationally-televised sports show, “We Need To Talk”.
Hosts rotate weekly, and include Lesley Visser, Amy Trask, Tracy Wolfson, Dana Jacobson and Allie LaForce. The show will also have correspondents like Andrea Kremer, Laila Ali, Lisa Leslie, Dara Torres, Swin Cash, Summer Sanders and Katrina Adams. In addition, “We Need To Talk” is led by Emmy Award-winning (female) Coordinating Producers Emilie Deutsch and Suzanne Smith as well as Amy Salmanson and Julie Keryc.
This new all-female show has already welcomed Mississippi State’s Head Coach Dan Mullen, former Bengals’QB Boomer Esiason, Spurs Assistant Coach Becky Hammon, Villanova University’s Jay Wright, Cincinnati Bengals’ Executive VP Katie Blackburn, and marathon runner/tennis player Caroline Wozniaki.
One of the hosts, Allie LaForce is the head sideline reporter for CBS sports’ SEC Game of the Week, which has included MState/Kentucky in October, and will include MState at Alabama coming up November 15th.
Lesley Visser brings incredible knowledge and clout to the panel with her list of accomplishments: Voted the No. 1 Female Sportscaster of All-Time, First Woman Assigned to a Super Bowl Sideline, First and Only Woman Enshrined into Pro Football Hall of Fame, along with MANY other credits.
The show is aired once a week, on CBSSN, Tuesday evenings, with a Wednesday morning replay.
The show covers all sports, and some hard-hitting current events. It also includes soft stories that will elude to women. However, it is not JUST for women.
All gridiron girls, and sports fans, should definitely check it out!
