UTSA Home Opener: Game Info

UTSA will play its second game of the season, the first at the Alamodome, early Saturday morning. The game will kick off at 11:05, nationally televised on FoxSports 1, but a lot goes on beforehand. A pre-game show starts at 9am on the radio station, The Ticket, 760 am with hosts Andy Everett and Ed suarez.

WEAR ORANGE!!

The game will be an ORANGE OUT, so make sure you and the kiddos are dressed in orange. UTSA also is introducing a new noise maker, a         clacker, which is meant to mimic the sound of a roadrunner. Try to get your hands on one!

Gates will open for tailgaters at 7am. All parking lots at the Alamodome are sold out, and are permit parking only. Fans can find random people selling parking spaces around the Dome, or you can opt for the bus option (I highly recommend this).
VIA will be providing a park and ride option from 4 locations:
UTSA Main Campus — Park in Tobin Avenue Garage for free

See Map Here

pick up at corner of Tobin Avenue and Walter Brenan Avenue

Crossroads Park & Ride (near I-10 & Loop 410 interchange on northwest side)

Randolph Park & Ride (near I-35 and Loop 410 interchange on northeast side)

Madla Transit Center (I-35 South & Cantrell Drive)

(THE LAST BUS LEAVES THE DOME 45 MINUTES AFTER THE END OF THE GAME)

Grab your coffee and head to Sunset Station! The Spirit Walk begins two and a half hours before kickoff — or approximately at 8:30 a.m. — at the corner of Hoefgen Avenue and Commerce Street. UTSA’s Spirit of San Antonio marching band will lead the Roadrunners football team down Hoefgen through Roadrunner (Sunset) Station and into the Alamodome. This is your chance to cheer and yell for the team before the game!

WEAR ORANGE!!

If you have an emergency, text 69050 to request immediate assistance from the Alamodome staff. All assistance texts must begin with the word “Alamo” and must include the type of request (i.e., spill or unruly fan) along with the Section, Row and Seat Number of the person requesting assistance.

Get up, get to the Alamodome. No excuses.
