Oregon DE Torrodney Prevot Suspended Indefinitely from Oregon

Oregon Head Coach Mark Helfrich Releases Official Statement Regarding Torrodney Prevot

Oregon Head Coach, Mark Helfrich, released the following statement this evening regarding defensive end, Terrodney Prevot:

“Torrodney Prevot has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of University and Department of Athletics codes of conduct.  At the conclusion of the University process, his status as a student-athlete will be evaluated further.”

According to a report by The Daily Emerald, Prevot is the subject of a current investigation by the Eugene Police after a former UO athlete filed a complaint after alleging she was physically assaulted by Prevot.

The news came at the same time Oregon released it’s two-deep depth chart in preparation for its season opener against UC Davis. Prevot was missing from that depth chart and will be replaced by Sophomores Justin Hollins and Jalen Jelks.
