6 Reasons to Attend THIS year’s UO Football Women’s Camp

Eugene, OR– The University of Oregon’s Women’s Football Clinic will be held tomorrow, June 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. inside Autzen Stadium.

Even if you’ve attended a clinic before, you won’t want to miss out on this one. Following suit with all the recent changes to the program, the Women’s Clinic is under new leadership and will follow a new format with some fun additions.

Here are 5 reason’s to attend this year’s event. . .

You’ll get a chance to meet the new coaching staff

gridirongirl is told most, if not all, new coaches, including Head Coach, Willie Taggart, will be in attendance. This will be a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the new coaches of your most-beloved team. Watch out though, the passion and energy is contagious!

There will be a coach’s wives panel

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be the first lady of one of Oregon’s football coaches? This is your opportunity to get to know the answer. Several of the coaching staff’s wives have agreed to participate in a panel to answer many of your questions!

You’ll get to meet current Oregon Football players

Everyone needs a favorite player right? Here’s your chance to get to know a few. Several current players will be participating in this year’s event, answering questions and helping with the day’s events.

UO Students receive a VERY discounted rate

This year’s entry fee to the general public is $70 and will include a T-Shirt and catered lunch. UO student tickets are just $25 bucks. It’s early, but surely you can wake up for a 10 a.m. meeting with your Ducks right?

You Don’t have to get physical. . .unless you want to!

As has been the case is years past, some attendees like to wear skirts and heels, others rock their t-shirt and kicks, hoping to run routes. This year, everyone will be happy. The first half of the day will be instructional and include several panels. The second half of the day will give attendees a chance to get physical, running drills and even playing in a scrimmage. Don’t want to get physical, feel free to spectate or call it a day! Either way, this event is sure to be fun!

Last but not least, you’ll get to meet me 🙂

I’ll be there rockin’ my gridirongirl shirt so please come say hi!!
